On the Street: Marissa (Fabulous!)

What I love about Marissa's outfit is how casual it looks despite how cute it is! This would be an easy look to recreate. You could even through a long-sleeved button down blouse underneath the sweater to give it one more layer of interest.

Enjoy, and have a fabulous weekend!

On Marissa:
Sweater: Forever 21
Scarf: From Ross
Skirt: Thrifted
Shoes: From Urban Outfitters

Dirty, Pretty Things

Full disclaimer: what you're about to see in no way fits the description of the title. But "Clean, Pretty Things" just doesn't hold the same intrigue, does it?

How do you all feel about the resurgence of headbands, a la Charlize Theron at the Golden Globes? It kind of gives me the heeby jeebies, because it reminds me of a day and time when Paris Hilton and Nicole Ritchie (whom I actually adore) ruled the roost (or at least the tabloids). Remember when they ran around wearing a hippy version of these?

If you don't know what I'm talking about, here's a photo of Charlize:

So I just did a little investigating, and here are a few headbands I love.
Tasha Braided Matters $38--totally overpriced, but I'm sure you can find a knockoff!

Lulu Head Wrap $8 (I have one similar and love it!)

Tasha Vixen Flower $32

Greek Godess Headband $22

And for your nails:

Sally Hansen Salon Effects Polish Strips
My co-worker uses these and they're really cute. A few of my favorite patterns:

Tri-bal it on

Tweed-le Dee

Stripe Tease

And for your eyes....haven't tried these yet, but I want to!! They're Dior's stick on eyeliner patches. I can just hear all the men groaning...supposedly there is nothing men hate more than a good cat eye. I know, I can't get my head around it either. It's so meowsexymeow!
